Connected Learning Community

We are so thrilled that Middle School will have a Connected Learning Community next year! Students will be able to use their own devices to enhance their learning, creating community by collaborating and sharing their expertise using different technology tools.

Each year the students are more experienced and their technology skills are getting better and better. Our ASF teachers are aware of this, and are ready to integrate more technology into their classrooms. 21st Century Education provides richer classrooms by connecting students with students from around the Globe, international and national experts in different fields or virtual museums, thus breaking the classroom walls.

Connectivity engages students by raising the bar in teaching and learning. Teachers will be able to use Twitter or Facebook to communicate and start discussions in and outside class. Tablets and smart phones will be available for research and quick reference to enrich learning. Students will take online tests and quizzes or take instant polls.

Teachers and Digital Literacy Coaches will work together hand in hand to ensure a smooth transition, educate students on the responsibility of their digital footprint, showing proper and safe use of devices in the classroom. Even though we will face some challenges, the possibilities for creation and innovation are limitless.

One more time, ASF demonstrates it is a pioneer institution in Mexico, offering the best educational opportunities to its students and future leaders of the world.
